1045：AISI 1045 steel plate is of medium hardness and can be additionally upgraded to meet construction needs. 1045 metal has good strength and resistance and is often used in machinery. However, measures need to be taken to prevent stress cracks caused by factors such as flame cutting.
A514-T1：A514-T1 steel plate has a tensile strength of 100,000 psi and can withstand heavier design loads. Structural steel manufacturers typically use this ASTM steel for heavy equipment rather than sheet, providing better results at lower weights.
A516：Pressure vessels requiring notched durability for best results can benefit from grade 55, 60, 65 or 70 steel plate. This steel sheet is ideal for the oil and gas industry, as well as a variety of other areas where pressure-dependent boilers and equipment are required. The A516 is simple to manufacture, robust and highly solderable.
