A516Gr70N (HIC) steel plate is a kind of anti-hydrogen sulfide steel plate. At present, it has supplied nearly 50,000 tons of anti-hydrogen sulfide steel plate to home and abroad.

A516Gr70N (HIC) steel plate features:
1. Low steel P and S content, high purity, good resistance to wet hydrogen sulfide corrosion;
2. Good low temperature toughness. Steel plates above 100mm can maintain -30 ℃ transverse impact at 1/2 of the plate thickness.
3. Wugang is the thickest manufacturer in China that can produce HIC-resistant steel plates. The thickest specification that has been produced is 176mm, and Z35 performance in the thickness direction can be guaranteed;
4. Hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) performance test. The test method for hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) implements NACE TM0284 or GB8650 standard. The average of the three samples is: CLR≤10%, CSR≤3%, CTR≤1 %;
CLR: percentage of crack length; CSR: percentage of crack sensitivity; CTR: percentage of crack thickness;
5. Excellent anti-sulfide stress corrosion (SSCC) performance;
6. The hardness of the steel plate is controllable, and the product has good processability and is easy to roll.
A516Gr70 steel heat treatment
1. Steel plates with a thickness of ≤40mm are usually supplied in the rolled state. Steel plates can also be ordered according to normalizing or stress relief, or normalizing plus stress relief.
2. Steel plates with thickness> 40mm should be normalized.
3. Unless otherwise specified by the purchaser, steel plates with a thickness of ≤40mm shall be normalized when notch toughness is required.
