 1.A572Gr50 Steel and Q345 Steel Description

Q345 is a steel material. It is (C <0.2%) and is widely used in buildings, bridges, vehicles, ships, pressure vessels, etc. Q stands for this material, the latter 345 refers to this material, around 345 MPa. And as the thickness of the material increases, its yield value decreases.

Q345C: C≤0.20, Si≤0.50, Mn ≤1.70, P≤0.030, S≤0.030, Al≥0.015;
Q345D: C≤0.18, Si≤0.50, Mn ≤1.70, P≤0.030, S≤0.025, Al≥0.015; Q345E: C≤0.18, Si≤0.50, Mn ≤1.70, P≤0.025, S≤0.020, Al≥ 0.015;
Q345A, B, C, D, E all contain Nb≤0.07, V≤0.15, Ti≤0.20, Cr≤0.30, Ni≤0.50, Cu≤0.30, N≤0.012, Mo≤0.10.
Q345 Steel Chemical Composition (%):
C≤0.23, Mn≤1.35 P≤0.04 S≤0.05Nb 0.005 ~ 0.05
For steel plates with a thickness of less than 1.5in (40mm) Si≤0.40; for steel plates with a thickness of more than 1.5in (40mm) d≤0.15 ~ 0.40.
