Angle steel includes hot rolled angle steel and shipbuilding angle steel. The angle steel is devided into equal angle and unequal angle. The two sides of equal angle steel are equal. Its specification is expressed in millimeter of side width × side width × side thickness.
The angle steel can be made up of different stress components and can also be used as connections between components according to different needs of the structure. Angle steel are widely used in a variety of architectural and engineering structures, such as beams, bridges, towers, hoisting and conveying machinery, ships, industrial furnace, reaction tower, container frame, cable bracket, power piping, busbar support installation, and warehouse shelves.
