The price of Zhengzhou
hot-rolled coil market rose sharply last week. The current market prices of Q235B hot-rolled steel coils for 1.8mm and 2.75mm in Zhengzhou are 5,720 yuan/ton and 5,450 yuan/ton, respectively. The market price of 3.0mm thickness is 5430 yuan/ton, and the market price of 3.5mm and above is 5390 yuan/ton. The market price of Q345B low-alloy coils above 3.5mm is about 5710 yuan/ton.
Looking back at last week, the local hot-rolled market prices continued to rise due to the continuous surge in futures and Tangshan billets. Today, the single-day increase has reached 200 yuan/ton, and the cumulative increase last week has reached about 350 yuan/ton. The current price continues to set new local highs in recent years. In terms of resources, due to the better efficiency of sheet steel, BBN Steel Hot Rolling continued to schedule production this month, and the steel mills shipped a large volume. Although the shipment speed was faster, there was still a certain upward trend in inventory of some merchants.
On the whole, it is expected that the price of the Zhengzhou hot rolled market may continue to rise in the short term.
