EN10028-3 P275NL1 boiler steel flat products are made of steels for pressure purposes. It is a weldable fine grain steels in normalized condition. P275NL1 steel equivalents include DIN 17102 TStE 255 and TStE 285, NF A36205 A42 FP, NF A36205 A48 FP.
The main difference between the NL1 and the NL2 grades is the the reduced % of P and S no metallic inclusions allowed in the steel for lower temperature. This is one of the reasons why P275NL1 from BEBON Steel is so good. Because the whole of the steel making at China is set up to produce extremely low P and S steel – clean steel – our P275NL1 boiler steel flat often perform significantly better than required by the relevant standard.
