1.Corrosion of welded joints: The oxidation rate of welded joints must be the same as that of weather resistant steel plate, which requires special welding materials and techniques. Although ordinary welding rods can also weld weather resistant steel plates normally, and there will be no serious chromatic aberration after welding, the life of the weld will be much lower than that of the weather resistant steel plate, and the corrosion rate of the weld may be too fast to cause rust water to flow and pollute the weather resistant steel plate. Therefore, attention should be paid to selecting special electrodes with similar chemical composition to weather resistant steel and matching strength and toughness.
2.Corrosion by accumulated water: Weather resistant steel is not stainless steel. If there is accumulated water in the low recesses of weather resistant steel, the corrosion rate of the place will become faster, and drainage must be paid attention to during construction.
3.Salt-rich air environment: Weather resistant steel is sensitive to salt-rich air environment. In such an environment, the surface protective film may not prevent further oxidation inside.
4.Construction temperature: The surface temperature of the weather resistant steel workpiece is too high (over 35 degrees) and too low (below 5 degrees), and high temperature exposure will have a negative impact on the rust effect, especially for the coating of the rust fixative. Avoid construction under the above conditions.
