Which one has more carbon low alloy steel or high alloy steel
It just really depends on the alloy. Some steel alloys may have lots of other things in them, but be relatively low in carbon. For example some grades of stainless steel that are to be welded, the goal is to get the carbon as low as possible but they still could have 20% or more of other elements besides iron.
But most of the time it would be safe to say that a high alloy steel would have more carbon, but with exceptions.
