Tensile Strength: 485-620 MPa (70-90 ksi)

Yield Strength: Minimum 290 MPa (42 ksi)

Elongation: 18% minimum (in 200 mm)

Impact Toughness: Suitable for low-temperature applications

Chemical Composition: 

Carbon (C): Max 0.24%

Manganese (Mn): 0.85-1.20%

Phosphorus (P): Max 0.035%

Sulfur (S): Max 0.04%

Silicon (Si): Max 0.15-0.40%

ASTM A573 Grade 70 Equivalent

EN 10025-2 S275JR/S355J2-steel_4448.html target=_blank class=infotextkey>S355JR: European standards for structural steel. S275JR and S355JR have similar mechanical properties and can be used in similar applications.

DIN 17100 St52-3: A German standard structural steel with equivalent mechanical properties.

JIS G3101 Ss400: Japanese equivalent grade, used in general structural applications.

GB/T 700 Q235B/Q345B: Chinese equivalent structural grades for general use in construction and structural applications.

These equivalents are for reference, and minor differences in mechanical properties or chemical composition may exist between these grades and ASTM A573 Grade 70. Always confirm specifications depending on the project requirements.
