Steel pipe and submerged arc welded longitudinal seam pipe according to the production process. Submerged arc welded straight seam steel pipes are divided into UOE, RBE, JCOE steel pipes, etc. according to their different forming methods.
API 5L X42 LSAW pipes are usually divided into metric electric welded steel pipes, electric welded thin-walled pipes, transformer cooling oil pipes, and so on. Longitudinal welded pipe has simple production process, low production cost, and rapid development. The strength of spiral welded pipes is generally higher than that of straight seam welded pipes. A narrower blank can be used to produce welded pipes with larger pipe diameters, and a billet with the same width can also be used to produce welded pipes with different pipe diameters. But compared with the straight seam pipe of the same length, the weld length is increased by 30-100%, and the production speed is lower.
API 5L X42 LSAW pipes are generally welded pipes used to transport low-pressure fluids. It is made of Q195, Q21, Q23 steel and Q235B ordinary carbon. It can also be manufactured by easy welding 0317 standard model 6012 and steel mother 755 mild steel. Steel pipes are subjected to water pressure, bending, flattening and other experiments, and the surface quality is required. Usually the delivery length is 4-10m, and the delivery of fixed length (or double length) is often required.
