What is the difference between SAE1010 Steel and C1010 Steel

C1010steel is a low carbon steel alloy used for common bar and sheet stock. SAE1010 steel is the same stuff by another name. It is also called AISI 1010 steel.
It is one of the most commonly used types of steel. When cold rolled, it does not offer good corrosion resistance. It is often used in low strength parts manufacturing, forming, and welding applications. Allowable Stress is 20,000 psi, Min Yield is 28,000 psi and Modulus of Elasticity is 29E6 psi.
