The shape, weight, dimension and dimension tolerance of P235GH steel plates shall meet the requirements of 2007 + A1: 2009 in EN10028-1.
Mechanical properties of P235GHtensile strength σb350 ~ 480 MPa; yield strength σs≥215 MPa; elongation δ5≥ 25%; impact absorption work Akv≥47 J; Brinell hardness ≤105 ~ 140 HB100 / 3000.
Chemical composition (mass fraction,%): ≤0.16 C; ≤0.35 Si; 0.60 ~ 1.20 Mn; ≤0.025 P; ≤0.010 S; ≤0.30 Cr; ≤0.30 Ni; ≤0.30 Cu; ≤0.08 Mo; ≤0.02 V; ≤0.02 Nb; ≤0.012 N; ≤0.020 Al; ≤0.03 Ti.
P235GH plate delivery condition
- P235GH steel plate is usually delivered in normalized condition. According to the negotiation between supply and demand, normalizing rolling can be used instead of normalizing. In this case, the specimen shall be simulated normalizing according to the negotiated test frequency to verify that the performance meets the requirements.
- The steel plate should be delivered by shearing or flame cutting.
