For ASTM A36 S275JR chemical composition, A36 steel carbon content is higher than S275JR steel, other elements such as Mn, Si, Cu, etc. is lower than that of EN10025-2 S275JR steel. For ASTM A36 S275JR S235JR mechanical properties, S275JR yield strength is higher than A36 yield strength, and S275JR tensile strength is also higher than A36 tensile strength. EN10025-2 S275JR steel has better comprehensive performance than ASTM A36 steel. From the comparison table, it is not hard to find that Astm A36 equivalent grade in EN10025-2 is S235JR.
