SPHE steels are composed of following chemicals with given proportion.
Carbon is less than or equal to 0.10%.
Manganese is less than or equal to 0.5 %.
Maximum range of Phosphorous & Sulphur is 0.03 & 0.035 %.
Rest percentage is of iron in the chemical composition of SPHE steels.
SPHE steel Equivalent Material Grades in International Standards: The International Standard covering the scope of hot rolled mild steel ISO 3573-2008 has some related steels like HR 3 & HR 4 Steel as the equivalent material for SPHE steel.
