The EN 10025-4 S355ML steel plate is applicated in thermo mechanical rolled condition for several types of welded constructions such as fixed and movable storage container, high-pressure pipes, bridge and load-bearing constructions.
Subsequent heating above 580°C for thermo mechanical rolled products causes reduction of the strength properties. Application limit: at -50°C is warranted a notch impact energy of 27J (longitudinal test specimen).
Warm forming: thermo mechanical rolled products are unsuitable for warm forming.
