S355JR steel is a structural micro-alloyed grade used for a great variety of applications. JR denotes the Charpy V impact test at 20 DEC temperature. In DIN standard, there is a steel grade owned similar chemical composition and mechanical property to that of S355JR steel. The grade is DIN 17100 ST52-3, which is S355JR steel equivalent grade in DIN standard.
