16Mo3 steel plate is a foreign brand steel plate, which is used to make boilers and pressure vessels. It is different from other raw materials during welding. It must be preheated first, and the weld should be kept warm for about 30 minutes after the welding is completed. 16Mo3 manganese steel plate is also an important alloying element of steel, it is an important hardenability element, and it has a great influence on the patience of the weld metal. 16Mo3 executive standard is: European standard EN10028-2.

Chemical composition of 16Mo3 steel plate:
C (0.12-0.20) Si (≤0.35) Mn (0.40-0.90) P (≤0.025) S (≤0.01) Cu (≤0.3) Ni (≤0.3) Cr (≤0.3) Al (≥0.02) N (≤ 0.012)
16Mo3 steel plate features: heat resistance, corrosion resistance.
When the Mn content is less than 5%, the patience of the weld metal is very high;
When the Mn content is more than 3%, it is very brittle;
When the Mn content is between 60% and 180%, the weld metal has higher strength and resistance.
