Hot working specification of 42CrMo steel plate:
The heating temperature is 1150 ~1200 degrees C, the starting temperature is 1130 ~1180 degree C, the termination temperature is 850 degrees C, and the retarding cooling is achieved when Phi > 50mm.
Normalizing specification of 42CrMo steel plate:
Normalizing temperature 850~900 degree C, air cooling.
Specification for high temperature tempering:
Tempering temperature 680~700 degrees C, air cooling.
Specification for quenching and tempering:
The preheating temperature is 680~700 degrees C, quenching temperature is 840~880 degrees C, oil-cooled, tempering temperature is 580 degrees C, water-cooled or oil-cooled, hardness is less than 217 HBW.
Specification for subcritical hardening and toughening treatment:
Quenching temperature is 900 degrees C, tempering temperature is 560 C, hardness is 37 + 1 HRC
Specification for induction hardening and tempering:
Quenching temperature is 900 degrees C, tempering temperature is 150~180 C, hardness is 54 ~60HRC.
