EN standard atmospheric corrosion resistant S355J2W steel steel plate

S355J2W steel is a medium tensile, low carbon manganese atmospheric corrosion resistant steel. S355J2W steel is readily weldable and possess good impact resistance, including in low temperatures. Unlike unalloyed constructional steel, when copper is added as an alloy in S355J2W steel, there would automatically form a barrier layer which can prevent atmosphere, moisture and other corrosion elements.
