GB/T 6653 HP295 steel plates are used for liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, which are formed by cold stamping. Sometimes GB T 6653 HP295 steel gas cylinders have defects on the body, such as delamination under pressure, bulging and cracking, perforation during water explosion test. Such waste quantity is minimal, but generate great harm.
The defects of GB T 6653 HP295 steel gas cylinders body are mainly caused by the impurity of the HP295 steel and the existence of a large number of non-metallic inclusions. The non-metallic inclusions are derived from the involved mold slag, the twice oxidation of the molten steel and deoxidization products that remain in steel without floating.
In order to avoid body defects of GB T 6653 HP295 steel gas cylinders, there are mainly 3 methods:
1. In order to avoid the involvement of mould slag, the operation of the casting platform should be strengthened to reduce the slags caused by the fluctuation of the liquid level of the mould.
2. In order to reduce the twice oxidation of molten HP295 steel, the self pouring rate should be improved and the whole protect pouring process should be implemented.
3. In order to promote the flotation of deoxidization products in GB T 6653 HP295 steel, the inclusion should be denatured and to promote the deoxidization flotation.
With above measures, the body defects of GB T 6653 HP295 steel gas cylinders can be greatly improved.
