The plasticity of 35CrMo alloy is fair during cold deformation, and the machinability is medium, but it has the first type of temper brittleness. The weldability is not good. It needs to be preheated to 150~400 degrees Celsius before welding. Post-weld heat treatment is used to eliminate stress. It is generally used after quenching and tempering. It can also be used after high and medium frequency surface quenching or quenching and low and medium temperature tempering.
