The difference between 50W800 silicon steel sheet and 50ww800 steel plate

Silicon steel sheets, the English name is silicon steel sheets, is a soft magnetic alloy of ferrosilicon with extremely low carbon content, generally with a silicon content of 0.5 to 4.5%. The addition of silicon increases the resistivity and maximum permeability of iron, and reduces coercivity, core loss (iron loss), and magnetic aging.

50ww800 is the grade used by WISCO, and an extra w refers to WISCO. 50W800 silicon steel sheet is a general grade of silicon steel.
50W800 silicon steel sheet refers to a thickness of 0.5mm, no orientation, and an iron loss of 0.80 watts per kilogram. 50ww800 refers to the thickness of 0.5mm, Wuhan Iron and Steel, no orientation, and the iron loss value is 0.80 watts per kilogram.

The production of 50W800 silicon steel sheet is known as a handicraft in iron and steel products, especially oriented silicon steel sheet, due to the complex process, narrow process window and great difficulty in production. 50W800 silicon steel sheet is mainly used to make iron cores of various transformers, motors and generators. The world's silicon steel sheet production accounts for about 1% of the total steel production.
