Study on Forming process of 34CrMo4 alloy structural steel steel plate

The flow stress data of 34CrMo4 alloy structural steel was obtained by constant temperature and constant strain compression test. According to the stress data, the influence of temperature and compression rate on the flow stress can be seen.

Temperature has obvious softening effect on the structure of 34CrMo4 alloy, and the influence of compression rate on stress is mainly work hardening and deformation heat. The deformation heat can change the flow stress of 34CrMo4 alloy by changing the internal temperature of the alloy structure.

Since the temperature of 34CrMo4 alloy structure set in the experiment is constant, the deformation heat will cause the measured temperature of 34CrMo4 alloy structure to be different from the actual temperature.

Considering the deformation thermal effect of 34CrMo4 alloy structural steel during compression, the flow stress of the material was modified. It can be seen from the revised data that when the temperature is lower and the strain rate is higher, the difference between the results before and after correction is greater. Because for low temperature,34CrMo4 alloy structural steel internal thermal increase effect is more obvious; When the strain rate is higher, the heat of deformation generated by compression is more, and the thermal effect of deformation is more obvious.
