Australia Launched the First Anti-Dumping Sunset Review Investigation on Quenched and Tempered Steel steel plate

On February 11, 2019, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission issued Announcement No. 2019/22, stating that the Australian enterprise Bisalloy Steels Pty Ltd should initiate the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on quenched and tempered steel plates imported from Finland, Japan and Sweden in response to the application submitted by the Australian enterprise Bisalloy Steels Pty Ltd. The investigation period of this case is January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018. The Australian customs codes of the steel products involved are 7225.40.0021, 7225.40.0022, 7225.40.0023, 7225.40.0024 and 7225.99.0039.

Stakeholders should submit relevant materials by March 20, 2019.

On January 8, 2014, Australia launched an anti-dumping investigation into the import of quenched and tempered steel plates from Finland, Japan and Sweden. On November 6, 2014, Australia imposed final anti-dumping rulings on the steel products of the three countries involved.
